FABAG to hold music, dance  and fashion night on Oct. 26

The Filipino American Business Association of Glendale (FABAG) is sponsoring a Philippine History
 celebration on Saturday (October
26) from 4:00 PM until 8:30 PM at
the Incarnation Community Center (214 W. Fairview Avenue, Glendale, CA

The affair will consist of a brief presentation of
historical events and Philippine
way of life; a
musical performance by Manahan Musika (led by Luningning Manahan); dance
performances by the Malaya Filipino American Dance Arts (under the direction of
Anna Lisa Gutierrez-De Guzman) and a Filipiniana collection fashion
show by Carmelo Designs by Carl Andrada.

The Philippines is rich in
customs and traditions that
the organizers want to share to the diverse communities of the City of Glendale. 

On October 15th,
the City of Glendale will also issue a proclamation on the importance of celebrating the Filipino American
cultural identity. 

Admission is free and Filipino “merienda” will be served.
